LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Lawton man was killed when the sport utility vehicle he was driving crashed just east of Lawton in Comanche County.

An accident report says 45-year-old Asaan James Fife died in the accident shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday.

The report says Fife was westbound when the SUV went off the roadway, struck a fence and rolled several times. Troopers say Fife was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown more than 40 feet from the vehicle.
