GRESHAM, Ore. (AP) - A 20-year-old Gresham, Oregon, man arrested in the stray bullet wounding of a 10-year-old girl has made an initial court appearance.

KATU-TV reports (https://is.gd/GvZ4Su ) that Ryan Scott Klavinger appeared Monday at the Multnomah County Justice Center. He’s charged with attempted aggravated murder, second-degree assault and two firearms counts. It was not known late Monday whether he had a lawyer.

Klavinger was arrested last weekend.

On Oct. 18, 10-year-old Tyla Anderson was playing at a Gresham apartment when a bullet came through a wall and hit her in the leg. Her father tells KATU that she is doing well after surgery to remove the bullet.
