CHICAGO (AP) - Cook County authorities have charged a 24-year-old man in connection to the fatal shooting of another man while he was video chatting with his girlfriend.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports (https://bit.ly/10uW6Ef ) Jonathan Rucker was ordered held without bond Sunday. He is charged with first-degree murder, home invasion and armed robbery.

Prosecutors say Rucker was not the gunman who killed 32-year-old Deanthony Jackson on Oct. 20 in the Chicago suburb of Dixmoor. They say Rucker and two unidentified accomplices wounded two people and shot Jackson in the torso during a home invasion. Jackson was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

Authorities haven’t provided information about Rucker’s accomplices. It’s unclear if they face charges.

Online jail records didn’t indicate an attorney for Rucker. He is listed as living in Harvey and Chicago.
