MYERSVILLE, Md. (AP) - A one-car crash in Maryland has killed a young Pennsylvania woman and injured three others.

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Richard Lewis was driving a car in Myersville, Maryland on Saturday night when he lost control. The car hit several trees, flipped over several times and came to rest in a field.

Twenty-two-year-old Lacy Doane of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lewis, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, as were his two other passengers, 24-year-old David Bonita and 22-year-old Chelsie Cooper, both of Myersville.

The crash is under investigation.
