BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle that struck a Broken Arrow man who was thrown from his motorcycle after crashing into a deer on the Muskogee Turnpike.

The OHP says 39-year-old Jason Ashlock was pronounced dead at a Tulsa hospital where he was taken following the Sunday night collision near Broken Arrow. The patrol says Ashlock was northbound when he struck a deer in the road and was thrown from the motorcycle, then struck by a vehicle that left the scene heading northbound.

Capt. George Brown says troopers are asking the public for help in finding the unknown vehicle.
