LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Louisville man has pleaded not guilty to shooting and killing his longtime friend earlier this month.

WDRB-TV in Louisville reported (https://bit.ly/1tyZ4U9 ) that Derick Anderson entered the plea Monday. Anderson is charged with killing 27-year-old Nathen Esterday on Oct. 12.

Anderson was arrested on Oct. 15.

Anderson has been ordered to have no contact with the victim’s family. He remains jailed on a $250,000 full cash bond.
