DERRY, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police responding to a car crash on Interstate 93 say they found a passenger unconscious from a heroin overdose and multiple bags of the drug in the vehicle.

Rescuers revived 23-year-old Ethan Marquis of Auburn and took him to a hospital on Sunday afternoon. He was later charged with drug possession.

The driver of the car, which crashed in the northbound lane in Derry, was charged with possession and transporting drugs. She was identified as 23-year-old Jillian Nobert of Goffstown.

It wasn’t immediately known if Marquis or Nobert had lawyers.
