BOSTON (AP) - An MBTA bus driver is being praised for his honesty and integrity after finding a wallet containing more than $1,700 in cash on his bus.

T police say Jazmine Tucker, of Charlestown, was taking the bus to the bank last week to deposit the money when she dropped her wallet.

Driver Richard Cooper, a 28-year-old Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority employee, found it and contacted dispatch. It was turned over to a supervisor at the Charlestown bus garage.

T workers contacted Tucker, and after verifying her name and the contents of the wallet, turned it over to the rightful and grateful owner.
