LOS ANGELES (AP) - A woman and two children have been struck and injured by a car at a bus stop near the University of Southern California campus.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey says a compact car struck the three shortly after 1 p.m. Monday.

Humphrey says the 32-year-old woman and a 1-year-old girl are in critical condition and a 3-year-old girl is in serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the incident at Jefferson Boulevard and Vermont Avenue.
