LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police say a woman was killed and four others were injured in two separate shootings in the Watts area.

Officer Liliana Preciado says the shootings late Sunday occurred within an hour of each other. No arrests have been made.

The Los Angeles Times reports (https://lat.ms/1oPP6wL) the gunman in both incidents, described as being in his 20s, was seen exiting a gold vehicle, either a sedan or station wagon.

A 22-year-old man struck in the face during the first shooting remains in critical condition. Two women, ages 22 and 35, also suffered gunshot injuries, but were in stable condition.

Investigators say a woman shot in the head during the second shooting died at a hospital. A man shot in the back is in stable condition Monday.
