FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) - Two people have died in a house fire in Florence.

Michael Poston Jr. with the Windy Hill Fire Department told local media that firefighters were called to a home around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Poston said firefighters had to deal with a leaking propane tank and arcing power lines and they fought the flames.

He says two people were found dead in the back of the home. The names of the victims have not been released.

Poston says the Florence Fire Department helped with the fire, which took about an hour to control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
