HELENA, Mont. (AP) - A 51-year-old Butte man died in a single-vehicle rollover crash near Thompson Falls.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was westbound on Montana Highway 200 shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday when he overcorrected and his vehicle went off the road, rolled and came to rest against a tree.

The man’s name hasn’t been released.

The patrol says it was foggy and there were some wet spots on the road at the time of the crash, and speed also was a factor in the crash.
