WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) - The coroner has identified a man killed when his home caught fire in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Washington County Coroner Tim Warco says the dead man is 61-year-old Edwin Patten.

Patten’s body was found after his house in South Strabane Township caught fire about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

A state police fire marshal from the Washington, Pennsylvania barracks was investigating the cause of the fire. Investigators don’t know what caused the blaze, but so far don’t believe it’s suspicious.

Patten lived alone in the home.
