AUBURN, Maine (AP) - Police in Auburn are looking for an armed man they say wore a Spider-Man mask while robbing a city convenience store.

Deputy Chief Jason Moen says the man showed a knife to a clerk in a Big Apple store at about 2 a.m. Monday and demanded money.

The Sun Journal (https://bit.ly/1u2yDXT ) reports that the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran through Bonney Park.

A store customer chased the suspect but was punched by the man in the park. The customer was treated at the scene.

The suspect was described as a thin, white male wearing a blue, hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and the mask. He is about 5-feet, 3-inches tall and was last seen crossing the foot bridge into Lewiston.
