FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A Fargo woman has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for the traffic death of her boyfriend last March.

KFGO radio reports that Olivia Anderson was also sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to pay $7,000 in funeral expenses for the death of 22-year-old Dyraughn Rutues (Duh-VRAWN’ ruh-TOOZ’).

Police say Rutues jumped on the hood of a car while Anderson was driving and hung on for a block until she slammed on the brakes. Authorities say the two had been arguing.

Anderson pleaded guilty to reckless driving. As part of the plea deal, prosecutors dropped charges of manslaughter and lying to police.
