PHOENIX (AP) - Some Arizona Air National Guard personnel are returning to the state Friday following a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan.

The Air Guard says the returning 14 members of the Phoenix-based 161st Air Refueling Wing provide logistical functions such as processing personnel and loading equipment on aircraft.

The wing operates KC-135 air tankers and is based at the Air Guard facility at Sky Harbor International Airport.
