WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A Delaware doctor who pleaded guilty to using her Newark home as a base from which to conduct illegal drug sales on the underground website Silk Road has been sentenced to five years in federal prison.

Dr. Olivia Bolles was sentenced Thursday after entering a guilty plea in June.

Bolles and her fellow gynecologist and live-in partner, Dr. Alexandra Gold, were arrested last November after federal agents in Florida tracked shipments of drugs bought on the website to Delaware.

Gold also has pleaded guilty to maintaining a dwelling for manufacturing and distributing drugs and is to be sentenced in December.

In a sentencing memorandum, prosecutors said Bolles conducted some 800 drug deals over a period of eight months using the Silk Road and Black Market Reloaded websites.
