BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (AP) - The Mississippi Department of Transportation has scheduled closures along Interstate 10 beginning Oct. 14 in Hancock County at the Louisiana line.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1rQuSSi ) the $450,000 bridge-joint repair project on I-10 over the Pearl River was awarded to Key LLC of Madison. Work, which will close one lane in each direction, will take about two weeks.

Wide loads will be restricted to a maximum width of 11 feet. Motorists should consider alternate routes, as major traffic delays are expected.
