YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - A man who pleaded guilty in the slaying of a northeast Ohio real estate agent has been sentenced to 29 years in prison.

Family members of 67-year-old Vivian Martin said they hope they can get some closure now that Grant Cooper was sentenced Thursday in Youngstown.

The (Youngstown) Vindicator (https://bit.ly/1vCGCJv ) reports the 25-year-old Cooper pleaded guilty in August to involuntary manslaughter, aggravated arson, aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

Authorities say Cooper and 29-year-old Robert Brooks lured Martin to a home she was trying to sell on Sept. 20, 2010, robbed and strangled her, and set the house on fire.

Brooks was sentenced to life in prison with no parole Wednesday. He pleaded guilty Sept. 19 to Martin’s death and the robbery of another real-estate agent five days before Martin was killed.
