PHOENIX (AP) - Manufacturing will be on the minds of some Arizona government and business leaders on Friday.

The Arizona Manufacturers Council will be holding a summit at a downtown Phoenix hotel. Scheduled attendees include Gov. Jan Brewer and members of the state’s congressional delegation.

The event will feature panel discussions on trends in manufacturing, necessary worker skills and supply train issues.

Brewer will speak to the group during lunch, and Republican Representatives Trent Franks, Paul Gosar, Matt Salmon and David Schweikert are scheduled to participate in a panel discussion.
