SETAUKET, N.Y. (AP) - Police say bandages and a sling didn’t stop a man from robbing a Long Island bank.

Suffolk County police say the suspect walked into a Chase bank in Setauket Thursday afternoon wearing bandages on his head and his arm in a sling.

According to Newsday (https://nwsdy.li/YW7VSe ), the bandit threated to use a weapon as he demanded money from a teller.

The teller compiled and the man fled.

Police ask anyone with information to call 1-800-220-TIPS.
