PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Rhode Island State Police say two men and a woman have been arrested and dozens of marijuana plants seized as part of a drug investigation.

Members of the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force executed multiple search warrants at four locations in Warwick and Narragansett on Thursday. Police seized 45 pounds of marijuana, 49 marijuana plants, 2½ pounds of hash oil, 23 vials of steroids and more than $29,000 in cash.

Three individuals were arrested, including 38-year-old Brett Mistofsky of Narragansett, who police say was the leader of the distribution organization. He faces several drug charges. Mistofsky was also served with an arrest warrant for alleged tax evasion.

He couldn’t immediately be reached at a telephone listing in his name.
