BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) - The Ohio-West Virginia Youth Leadership Association will receive a nearly $70,000 federal grant to expand a youth entrepreneurship education program.

Democratic U.S. Rep Nick Rahall of West Virginia announced the award for the association.

The federal funding was provided by the Appalachian Regional Commission. It is being matched with nearly $23,000 from local sources.

Rahall’s office says the funding will be used to expand a statewide network of certified educators and business and community leaders who will participate in entrepreneurship programs that include camps and summits at Camp Horseshoe in Parsons.
