HOPE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in Hope say the case of a man found dead in a house fire has been classified as a homicide.

Hope Assistant Police Chief Kim Tomlin says 20-year-old Thomas “T.J.” Youngblood was found dead in the home after the fire early Tuesday morning. Tomlin tells the Hope Star (https://bit.ly/1u9CWAJ ) that authorities are investigating the case as a homicide but she declined to provide more details.

The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters responded to the blaze. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
