NEWARK, Del. (AP) - New Castle County Police have arrested a man they say exposed himself to a woman in an apartment building laundry room.

It happened about 9:35 p.m. Monday at the Drummond Hill Apartments in Newark. Officers say a woman was leaving the laundry room when a man grabbed her and pushed her into a wall in a stairwell.

Police say the man then exposed himself to the woman. Authorities say the woman was able to get away from the man and flee to her apartment.

Officers say they found the man running from a wooded area near the apartment building.

Twenty-one-year-old James Cotton of Newark was charged with indecent exposure, unlawful imprisonment and offensive touching.
