LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say two paramedics and two other people were hospitalized with unspecified injuries after a collision involving a sport utility vehicle and a Clark County Fire Department paramedic unit responding to an emergency call in southwest Las Vegas.

Deputy Clark County Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan says all four patients were reported to be in stable condition after the crash a little before 10 a.m. Friday at Durango Drive and Blue Diamond Road.

Buchanan says the paramedic engine was responding to a report of fire in a home in a neighborhood a few blocks from where the crash occurred.

The intersection remained closed for several hours while authorities investigated the crash.
