NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a northern New Jersey man who turned himself in to face drug charges was found to have six envelopes of heroin with the word “EBOLA” stamped in red ink on the packets.

Essex County authorities tell NJ.com (https://bit.ly/1wleM5g ) Deandre Beard surrendered himself Friday morning at the Veterans Courthouse in Newark.

The heroin allegedly was found in his underwear during a subsequent search, and he now faces another drug possession charge. He was being sought on three other unrelated drug-related counts.

The 24-year-old Newark man was being held at the county jail, and it wasn’t known if he has retained an attorney.
