MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A Coca-Cola executive who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison almost 30 years ago will return to his alma mater to deliver the speech at this winter’s graduation ceremony.

Ben Deutsch graduated from UW-Madison in 1985 with a journalism degree and spent two years as a sports reporter at the Wisconsin State Journal. He joined the soda giant in 1993 as public relations manager and now serves as the company’s vice president of corporate communications in Atlanta.

The winter graduation ceremony is set for Dec. 21 at the Kohl Center. It’s expected to last about two hours and will be open to the public.
