CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A 30-year-old Colorado man has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of sex trafficking of children for an interstate prostitution crime that ended in Casper in June.

KTWO-AM reports (https://bit.ly/1G2iQeW ) Joseph Javon Dawson of Aurora, Colorado, pleaded guilty on Oct. 20 during a hearing before U.S. District Judge Alan Johnson in Cheyenne. Dawson faces at least 10 years in prison when he is sentenced on Dec. 29.

Casper police were participating in a national effort targeting child sex trafficking when they answered an ad for a female advertising escort services. The girl who replied was 16 and was listed as a missing and endangered person in the National Crime Information Center database.

Casper police say Dawson acknowledged bringing two other girls to Casper from Colorado to prostitute them.
