PHOENIX (AP) - Houston-based Kinder Morgan Energy Partners says it has begun using a new 60-mile-long pipeline in southern Arizona to send natural gas from existing lines near Tucson to Mexico.

The 3-foot-diameter Sierrita pipeline reaches the U.S.-Mexico border near Sasabe, which is located 63 miles southeast of Tucson, to link with a new pipeline in Mexico.
