SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (AP) - An overturned crane on the back of a big rig has been removed from lanes and traffic is moving again on Interstate 5 in south Orange County.

The California Highway Patrol says all lanes in San Clemente were reopened shortly before 4 a.m. Friday.

The CHP says the truck driving on the northbound side at about 3 p.m. Thursday crashed into a center divider and fell over, sending concrete on to the southbound side and fuel across the freeway.

Southbound lanes were reopened and the fuel was cleaned up about 90 minutes after the crash, but all northbound lanes remained closed until early Friday.

Traffic was allowed to pass on the freeway’s shoulder.
