ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - The best-selling author of “Freakonomics” and “Superfreakonomics” is scheduled to give a talk at the University of Michigan.

Steven Levitt is to be the keynote speaker at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy’s centennial reunion celebration on Friday.

Levitt is an economics professor at the University of Chicago whose most recent book, “Think Like a Freak,” came out this year.

His speech at Rackham Auditorium in Ann Arbor is free and open to the public, but requires a ticket for entry.

The Ford School had its beginnings in 1914 with the political science department’s launch of a master’s degree in municipal administration. The school is celebrating its 100-year history throughout 2014.
