OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Omaha police say toxicology results from a man killed by police during a suspected armed robbery show that he had drugs and alcohol in his system at the time of his death.

Police said in a written statement Friday that Cortez Washington had alcohol, marijuana and “a very high value” of the hallucinogenic drug PCP in his system.

Police have said Washington was confronted in a Wendy’s restaurant by police on Aug. 26 and fired a realistic air gun at officers. Police returned fire, fatally wounding Washington. Also killed was Bryce Dion, a crew member with the TV show “Cops” that was recording the confrontation.

Police say they have concluded the investigation into the shooting after interviewing all parties, including the officers involved.
