LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP) - More citizen soldiers in New Jersey are preparing to ship out.

A farewell ceremony will take place on Saturday for 26 members of the military engagement team as they deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. They’ll conduct military-to-military engagements with partners to enhance stability and security in the U.S. Army Central Command’s area of responsibility.

The New Jersey National Guard says it will be the fourth deployment for four of the soldiers.

Three soldiers are state troopers and one is a middle-school math teacher.

The farewell will take place at the National Guard Armory in Lawrenceville.
