DETROIT (AP) - Police say a teenager was critically hurt in a hit-and-run incident outside a school in Detroit.

WWJ-AM reports (https://cbsloc.al/1wN8PwU ) the unnamed girl was taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital after being hit by the car Friday morning near Frontier International Academy on the Detroit-Hamtramck boundary. The girl is listed in critical condition.

According to police, the driver left the scene.

It’s not known whether the victim is a student at the school.
