SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A San Antonio man has been arrested after police say he crashed his motorcycle and ran away, leaving his critically injured passenger in the road.

San Antonio police say the driver lost control on Thursday. The driver and the 18-year-old female passenger were both thrown from the vehicle as the bike skidded on its side.

The woman was hospitalized in critical but stable condition. The driver was later arrested.

Police haven’t released their identities. No charges have been reported.
