PHOENIX (AP) - An annual pre-Halloween by federal, state and local enforcement officers in Arizona has resulted in the arrests of dozens of alleged sex offenders and child predators sought on outstanding warrants.

The U.S. Marshals Service says the roundup resulted in approximately 55 arrests in the Phoenix, Tucson, Yuma and Flagstaff areas.

U.S. Marshal David Gonzales says the roundup is an effort to reduce the number of victims.
