SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A San Antonio woman convicted of participating in a $1.3 million mortgage fraud has been sentenced to five months in prison and five months under house arrest.

The San Antonio Express-News reports (https://bit.ly/1tGUNwM ) a federal judge sentenced Dianne Joaquin on Thursday for seven charges that include conspiracy to commit bank fraud and conspiracy to engage in money laundering. The judge also ordered her to pay $256,000 in restitution.

She was convicted after a February 2013 trial. Prosecutors say she helped her boss get loans of $1.3 million from First Franklin Financial Corp.

Her boss is awaiting sentencing.
