BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The two candidates vying for the seat of chairman of the Three Affiliated Tribes will debate in Bismarck.

The Bismarck Tribune (https://bit.ly/ZK9Zhj ) reports the debate between tribal tax officer Mark Fox and tribal attorney Damon Williams is scheduled for Oct. 14 at the United Tribes Technical College.

Fox and Williams are on the Nov. 4 general election ballot after being the top two vote-getters to emerge from the tribes’ primary election last month. Current chairman Tex Hall came in fourth in the primary.

The debate is open to the public.
