Driver killed in pickup-tractor trailer collision

BARRINGTON, N.H. (AP) - Police in Barrington, New Hampshire, say a man has been killed in a collision between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer on Route 9.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1trUou7) police said the pickup was traveling east on Route 9 at about 8:40 a.m. Monday when it collided with a tractor-trailer headed the other way. Both drivers were taken to a hospital; the driver of the pickup truck later died. His name was not released.

Police said the driver of the tractor-trailer suffered minor injuries.

The accident shut down a section of Route 9 for several hours.
