NEW YORK (AP) - New York City police are looking for a suspect who discharged a handgun before stealing $900 in cash from a Brooklyn bodega.
Police say the man entered the Myrtle Avenue store around 7:40 p.m. Sunday, displayed the gun and demanded money. He allegedly fired one round, striking a wall, and then removed the cash from the register before fleeing.
There were no injuries.
Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
