PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) - A truck has been found submerged in the Seekonk River near a new waterfront park in Pawtucket.

Pawtucket Police Capt. Dave Cairrao tells WJAR-TV (https://bit.ly/1rdl3Ji ) no one was inside the truck, and no one was in the water after they responded to a call Sunday morning.

They’re not sure how it got there, and they don’t know how long it’s been there.

The truck was in the water near Festival Pier, a new $2 million park being built in the city. It is expected to open Dec. 1.
