BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - One of the owners of the Biloxi baseball team says his organization is keeping its options open to start the 2015 season in Huntsville, Alabama, if the stadium under construction isn’t completed in time for the home opener.

Tim Bennett tells The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/1vKdmQ0 ) it’s just a precautionary measure to protect the league and other teams in the league, but he doesn’t think it will come to that.

Yates Construction is building MGM Stadium in downtown Biloxi, north of the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. Bennett calls Yates one of the best contractors in the country.

He says the team will only exercise an option to start the season in Huntsville if the stadium isn’t complete on or around the home opener on April 20.
