SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - A Sheridan man has died of a heart attack while hunting in the Big Horn Mountains in north-central Wyoming.

Sheridan County Sheriff’s Lt. Mark Conrad says 57-year-old Bruce Dovey was hunting with a friend near Boyd Ridge west of Sheridan when he complained of not feeling well, then fell over.

Conrad tells The Sheridan Press (https://bit.ly/1pNgyWd ) that Dovey’s hunting partner performed CPR to the point of exhaustion.

The man’s death was reported by the staff at Bear Lodge just after 8 a.m. Monday.
