BALLSTON LAKE, N.Y. (AP) - A 20-year-old woman faces drunken driving and vehicular manslaughter charges after authorities say she struck and killed a man who was walking along the shoulder of a Saratoga County road.

Malina Singh of Lake Luzerne was arraigned in the Town of Ballston Court on Monday and released on $5,000 bail. She’s charged with felony driving while intoxicated and manslaughter in the Sept. 5 death of 34-year-old Jonathan Rogers.

Police say Rogers had been walking along Route 9N near his home in the village of Corinth in the predawn hours of Sept. 5 when he was struck by Singh’s 2013 Ford Fusion just after 3 a.m.
