ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are asking the public to help in the search for a car involved in the fatal shooting of two men in broad daylight earlier this week.

Surveillance video showed that a red Oldsmobile Alero was fleeing the scene of the shooting that occurred Monday afternoon downtown, just blocks from where baseball were fans were mingling around Busch Stadium in anticipation of a Cardinals playoff game.

The car had no front license plate.

A car pulled up alongside another vehicle and opened fire, killing 24-year-old Jonathan Saddler and 22-year-old James Lane. Police say the shooting was drug-related.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 866-371-8477.
