PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities have arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of a teenage boy in Phoenix last weekend.

Phoenix police say 23-year-old Antonio Libert was taken into custody Tuesday night.

He’s being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, aggravated assault and misconduct involving weapons.

It wasn’t immediately clear Wednesday if Libert has a lawyer yet.

Police say 17-year-old Christopher Garcia was was fatally shot Sunday night as he walked with four other people along a street.

They say two armed people in a truck stopped and got out before the shooting.

Police later found a burning vehicle that matched the description of the suspects’ car.

They say a motive for the shooting hasn’t been determined yet and police still are searching for a second suspect in the homicide case.
