LANCASTER, N.Y. (AP) - Police are investigating the cause of a three-vehicle crash on a suburban Buffalo road that left one person dead and four others injured.

Police in the town of Lancaster tell local media that a driver heading south on Transit Road around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday veered into an oncoming pickup truck and a third vehicle struck the pickup. Officers say the driver of the third vehicle involved in the crash was killed.

That person’s name hasn’t been released. Information on the injured motorists hasn’t been released.
