NEW YORK (AP) - Artic North rallied to beat Joes Blazing Aaron by three-quarters of a length Thursday in the $78,400 allowance feature on the turf at Belmont Park.

The 5-year-old chestnut gelding powered into contention with a three-wide sweep on the final turn and pressed on for a third win in 13 starts. Ridden by Javier Castellano for trainer Patrick Reynolds, Artic North ran 1 1/4 miles in 2:01.71 on the firm course.

Artic North paid $12.60, $5.40 and $4.20. Joes Blazing Aaron returned $3.90 and $3.10, and Red Vine paid $3.10 to show.
