CODY, Wyo. (AP) - The Cody City Council has approved the sale of a liquor license to Walmart.

The license currently belongs to a downtown grocery store. The vote to approve the sale went through Tuesday after the council previously tabled the request.

The Cody Enterprise reports (https://bit.ly/1sgzGkf ) Walmart plans to build a 3,900-square foot liquor store addition to its existing store in Cody.

Company officials say the liquor store will be separate from the main store and have its own entrance.
